iSAMS Sponsors Local Football Team
iSAMS have been proudly supporting the AFC Rushden & Diamonds Lions for the last year. This under 8s community youth football team from Rushden, Northamptonshire have spent the recent season playing in the Weetabix Under 8s Football League out of Raunds.
At the start of the season, they were the underdogs in the league. They had a rough run, losing several of their matches and, on occasion, struggling to find enough players to make a full side.
However, with ongoing sponsorship from iSAMS which has enabled the team to invest in a new kit and training equipment, the coaches have worked with the side to improve bit by bit.
This culminated in their recent successes, which have seen the team winning 8 of their last 9 games. In their latest match, they won 3-0, providing the side with their first-ever clean sheet!
With this undeniable progress, AFC Rushden & Diamonds Lions have become one of the most respected and revered teams in the league.
Assistant Coach John Clothier, said “We’re thrilled to have received iSAMS’ support over the past few months, which has meant we’ve been able to provide the team with more training equipment and a decent kit that really makes us stand out in the crowd. It has made all the difference when it comes to training sessions and on match days, and we can’t wait to continue building on our performance next season.”
